Improving the Efficiency of Bottomhole Formation Zone Treatments Using Complex Chemical Compositions

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In modern conditions of field development and operation, one of the key issues is the implementation of highly effective measures aimed at increasing well productivity. Various hydraulic fracturing technologies have become widespread in the fields of Western Siberia, making it possible to form channels for fluid filtration and reduce filtration resistances in the borehole zone of the reservoir. The accumulated experience of implementing this measure in various geological and technological conditions shows that during the further operation of wells, various deposits form on the surface of the rocks composing the formations. It leads to unstable inflows and other complications that have a significant impact on the economic performance of enterprises and the relevance of actions to control and regulate oil production. The solution to this problem may be the injection of complex chemical compositions after hydraulic fracturing. The proposed for use working agent is based on a 10 % hydrochloric acid solution, a hydrofibilizer, and ammonium chloride. Laboratory and empirical experiments carried out in the work made it possible to establish the positive effect of the composition on the filtration and capacitance properties of the rocks of the Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye deposit: due to the hydrofiberizing properties of the agent, an intermediate layer is formed within the zone of the hydrodynamic coupling of the borehole-reservoir system, which does not allow saturating the porous medium with water. Using the methods of mathematical statistics, criteria for the most effective application of a complex solution for certain geological and technological conditions have been established. A qualitative and quantitative assessment of the prospects for the use of this composition has been carried out using the example of the operational well stock. Based on the research results, a number of valuable conclusions have been drawn that can be used in the design of combined effects.
