Type: article
Abstract: This article presents the experience of using the reservoir hydraulic type indicator in studying terrigenous deposits of the Visean stage of the lower section of the Carboniferous system of the Volga-Ural oil and gas province. It is noted that detailing the geological structure of the study object with the subsequent construction of three-dimensional geological and hydrodynamic models to improve the accuracy of forecasting residual oil reserves is relevant and in demand for the oil industry. Information on the lithological and petrographiccharacteristics of the studied object is presented. An assumption is made that the study object is mainly composed of two lithotypes (sandstone and siltstone). It is shown that this lithological division must be taken into account when constructing three-dimensional models. For this purpose, such a parameter as the reservoir hydraulic type indicator is used. As a result, on the basis of this lithological division, modeling of permeability and oil saturation cubes was performed using the results of capillary core studies.
