Scabies-associated unilateral inguinal lymphadenopathy: A report of two cases
Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: Scabies is an infestation of the skin caused by the highly host-specific mite Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominis. Untreated cases cause various complications and secondary infections which include abscesses, lymphadenopathy, and poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis. Here, we report two cases of scabies associated with unilateral lymphadenopathy in the absence of any superadded infection, which has not been reported to the best of our knowledge.
