Methodology for Assessing the Manifestation of Socio-Psychological Factors in the Structure of Social Distance of Ethnic Youth Groups

Abstract: The article presents the results of assessment, qualitative and quantitative indicators of the manifestation of socio-psychological factors that determine the peculiarities of social distance development in interpersonal interaction among representatives of different ethnic youth groups. The author’s methodology was applied in the work, in the framework of which the respondents, based on their own perceptions, were offered to assess the manifestation of personal qualities that determine the modeling of various types of interaction – physical contact, trusting relationships, the possibility of establishing labor interactions, joint achievement of activity goals and others. Physical, emotional and cognitive attractiveness, social, economic, psychological identity, and functional compatibility in relation to other ethnic groups were identified as the main socio-psychological factors.
