Abstract: BACKGROUND. In the context of the rapid aging of the population in many countries of the world, the relevance of studying intergenerational relations has become particularly important. Older people face the risk of social isolation and ageism, which negatively affects their physical and psycho-emotional state. Establishing and maintaining intergenerational ties is not only a necessity for improving the quality of life of older people, but also an important aspect of social policy aimed at creating a more inclusive and harmonious society.
