Abstract: „Imitație de coșmar” [Imitation of a Nightmare] is a text whose obvious parable value is built on the pillars of a narrative that symbolically redimensions reality to convey a message with ethical relevance. In this (hi)story àclef, whose over-character is dictatorship - from anywhere and at all times - the protagonist narrates a strange story, which can be deciphered from (at least) two perspectives - that of the person who stubbornly defends his freedom, identity and values, and that of the coercive mechanism itself.
