Teaching Reform of Microcontroller Principles and Applications Course Oriented Towards Academic Competitions

Abstract: Microcontroller Unit (MCU) technology is fundamental knowledge in the field of electronic engineering. Its applications range from simple control systems to complex embedded systems. Traditional MCU curricula mainly focus on theoretical knowledge and basic experiments, which leads to a deficiency in comprehensive abilities. To improve practical skills and cultivate innovative thinking, this paper presents a teaching reform scheme based on discipline competitions for the curriculum of Fundamentals and Applications of MCU. After integrating discipline competitions, students' interest in learning is motivated, teamwork abilities are strengthened, and their comprehensive quality is improved.
