Abstract: We report the case of a 79-year-old female presenting with primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) due to a parathyroid adenoma arising within an auto-transplanted parathyroid gland.This is a rare occurrence, with few reported cases, occurring occasionally in patients with a hereditary predisposition to parathyroid disease or renal parathyroid disease.Our patient had no such risk factors and had undergone multiple prior failed
