Integration and Optimization of Multimodal Digital Resources in Language Teaching Driven by Information Technology

Abstract: In today's world, the rapid development of information technology has reshaped all walks of life, and multimodal digital resources, as an emerging resource, have received much attention. Multimodal digital resources integrate multiple forms of expression, which can provide a rich experience for language teaching and help students improve their language expression ability. In language teaching, through the optimization measures such as integration of multiple resources, interaction design, and the integration of artificial intelligence, virtual reality and other technologies, it will create a more personalized and intelligent classroom teaching, lead language teaching into a new era, and promote the enhancement of learners' linguistic and cross-cultural communicative competence. This paper is roughly divided into four parts, the first part describes the status quo of information technology development, the second part discusses the connotation and characteristics of multimodal digital resources, the third part explores its integration and application in language teaching, and the last part discusses the development trend of multimodal digital resources in language teaching driven by information technology.
