Teaching Reform Research and Practice of Integrating Software Engineering Major into Curriculum Ideology and Politics Based on OBE Concept

Abstract: Based on the education and teaching concept of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and the adherence to the fundamental task of " foster virtue through education ", this paper addresses the unique characteristics of the "Java Web Service Application Development" course, as well as the teaching pain points experienced by instructors and difficulties encountered by students in learning. This paper expounds from five aspects: the concept and strategy of curriculum teaching reform, the mode of ideological and political education in the curriculum, the system construction of curriculum content, the innovation and reform of teaching methods and the diversification of teaching evaluation. The results indicate that under the framework of engineering education accreditation, emphasizing student-centeredness, pursuing outcome orientation, and continuous optimization of educational practices, combined with an all-encompassing and whole-process ideological and political education, can achieve a deep integration of ideological and political education with professional education. This integration promotes the collaborative development of both, cultivating software engineering technical talents who possess solid professional knowledge and good ideological and political qualities.
