The Role of NCC Camps in Enhancing Career Opportunities and Personality Development Emphasis on Female Participation
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) plays a crucial role in empowering women through structured training programs in Army, Navy, and Air Force camps. These camps, including the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), Thal Sainik Camp (TSC), Nau Sainik Camp (NSC), and Vayu Sainik Camp (VSC), enhance women's personal development, leadership skills, and career prospects. These experiences break gender stereotypes, build confidence, and foster leadership qualities. The prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) offers recognition and opportunities for cadets to prove their abilities in challenging environments. The NCC also serves as a gateway for direct recruitment into the armed forces and offers enhanced career opportunities in diverse sectors. This research emphasizes the NCC's importance in promoting a holistic, inclusive platform for women, encouraging their participation in national service and instilling a deep sense of patriotism and civic responsibility
