Abstract: The article presents historical information and biographical data of military doctors and nurses during the First Wave of emigration and their lives and activities in France, in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region. Information is provided on the medical institutions (hospitals and infirmaries) of the ROKK to assist Russian emigrants, the work of shelters and sanatoriums in this region and the work of the Tolstoy Foundation in Europe and the USA.
