Limits of an increasing sequence of Riemann surfaces

Abstract: Let [Formula: see text] be a Riemann surface which admits an exhaustion by open subsets [Formula: see text] each of which is biholomorphic to a fixed planar domain [Formula: see text]. We describe [Formula: see text] in terms of [Formula: see text] under various assumptions on the boundary components of [Formula: see text].
