Abstract: The consequences of hormonal changes under the influence of prolonged extreme stress indicate an alteration in the body's ability to cope with stress. Moreover, the transition-return-perception of potential stimuli (the final stage of folliculogenesis control) may resemble an acute response similar to the initial stage of the General Adaptation Syndrome.
