Abstract: Glycidyloxycarbonyl and glycidyloxymethylcyclopropylvinyl ethers have been synthesized and tested as diluents and antimicrobial modifiers for ED-20 epoxy resin. The synthesized ethers are well compatible with ED-20 resin, and their introduction into the resin in an amount of 5–20 mass.% causes a considerable decrease in the viscosity of the system. The strength and thermal properties of maleic anhydride-cured compositions containing synthesized esters were studied. An increase of heat resistance and strength properties of the compositions has been revealed.
