Research on Multi-channel ScanSAR Imaging Simulation

Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: The focus of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging research is to realize the simultaneous imaging of azimuth high-resolution and range-width mapping belt. Conventional ScanSAR mode reduces the azimuth resolution in exchange for the double increase of the width of mapping belt, while the Displaced Phase Center Multiple Azimuth Besms(DPCMAB) can produce imaging ambiguity while obtaining high resolution. Based on this, a multi-channel ScanSAR technology combining the two effectively is proposed, and the problem of non-uniform azimuth sampling existing in the multi-channel SAR system is analyzed. The multi-channel frequency domain reconstruction algorithm combined with the Range-Doppler algorithm under burst mode is proposed to realize multi-channel ScanSAR imaging. The simulation results show that the five-scan six-channel ScanSAR system can clearly image the target at the azimuth resolution of 4.95m and the mapping bandwidth of 350km, and realize the simultaneous imaging of high resolution and wide mapping band.
