Abstract: Purpose: The aim of the publication is to present the changes and impact of investments on the development of the Lubuskie Voivodeship in the context of the 20th anniversary of Poland's membership in the EU.The aim of the work was also to present and describe key investments financed by the European Union in the Lubusz Voivodeship and their impact on the development of the region. Design/methodology/approach:The method of statistical data analysis and source materials was used in the work.The work uses the analysis of statistical data from the Central Statistical Office and SWOT analysis.Findings: the paper presents issues related to the analysis of data on public and private investments, assessment of the impact of investments on GDP growth, employment, productivity and the structure of the economy.Finally, a summary of the most important research results and the formulation of recommendations for further investment development of the voivodeship are included.Originality/value: The paper is addressed to people interested in European funds, investments that have played a role in the transformation of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, and regional policy.
