Abstract: The collective monograph Poetry of Thought: From Romanticism to Modernity solves the problem of theoretical substantiation of the phenomenon of “poetry of thought” in its ambiguous relationship with “poetry of emotion” and “philosophical poetry”. The book analyzes Boratynsky’s legacy and its reception by poets in 19th–21st centuries, and also examines the metamorphoses of the phenomenon of “poetry of thought” in Russian literature since the end of the 18th century. The monograph represents a significant academic study.
