Abstract: X-linked ichthyosis (XLI) is a rare dermatological condition with extracutaneous features. Recently, XLI has been associated with an increased risk of cardiac arrhythmias and related conditions that may impact morbidity and mortality. This letter emphasizes the need to identify and treat cardiac issues in XLI as early as possible.
