Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: : The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents transformative opportunities alongside profound challenges related to data sovereignty, cybersecurity, and ethical governance. As AI systems increasingly mediate critical decisions across sectors, concerns regarding privacy breaches, algorithmic bias, cyber threats, and regulatory fragmentation have intensified. This paper critically examines the urgent need for harmonized global standards that safeguard individual rights while fostering innovation. Drawing upon contemporary case studies and comparative analyses, the research explores how nations and institutions can co-develop interoperable frameworks that uphold ethical integrity, ensure transparent data governance, and strengthen cybersecurity resilience. By advocating for a multi-stakeholder, rights-based governance model, the paper contributes to the discourse on shaping a secure, equitable, and accountable AI future.
