The Societal Shift: How AI, LLMs, and AR/VR in App Development Are Redefining Human Experience
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The convergence of artificial intelligence, large language models, generative AI, and immersive technologies like augmented and virtual reality represents a watershed moment in technological evolution. As these innovations permeate mobile applications across iOS and Android ecosystems, they fundamentally alter the fabric of the human experience—transforming education, work, creativity, and social interaction. This article examines the technical underpinnings of these transformations while exploring their profound societal implications. Beginning with an overview of current AI integration in mobile environments, the paper analyzes the evolution of mobile AI frameworks, on-device language processing capabilities, and AR/VR implementation techniques. It then explores how these technologies are reshaping education through adaptive learning systems, transforming workplaces with AI-augmented tools, and democratizing creative expression. The article extends to ethical considerations, including bias mitigation, privacy preservation, and digital equity concerns, alongside an examination of emerging regulatory frameworks. Finally, the article looks toward future horizons in multimodal integration and ambient computing, offering insights into how these technologies will continue to redefine human-computer interaction in increasingly seamless and intuitive ways.
