Old dog, new trick: discovery of the solid-state phthalate detection capabilities of fluorescein
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Fluorescent materials for sensing phthalate vapors are presented. Fluorescein was discovered to display a unique response, involving the tautomerization from a yellow-emissive zwitterionic tautomer towards a blue-emissive lactoid tautomer.
