Abstract: With the aim of contributing to the history of psychology teaching in psychology programs, this paper explores historical, epistemological, institutional and pedagogical problems that arise when planning a course. As a case study, we describe the required undergraduate course of the Degree in Psychology at the National University of San Luis, Argentina. This description is framed in international debates on the relevance of teaching the history of psychology and in the regulations of the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation – CONEAU from Argentina. From there, dialogues are opened with some of the current approaches in the historiography of psychology, both national and international.
