Self-powered, ultrabroad band photodetectors with large open circuit voltage using colloidal PbSe QDs

Abstract: A self-powered PD with visible (404 nm) to near-infrared (1550 nm) sensing capability was fabricated. The photovoltaic mode PD shows figures of merit including V oc of 250 mV under 780 nm light illumination and 100 mV under 1550 nm light illumination.
