Streptomyces pactum-Mediated Bioprocess for Silver Nanoparticles: A Green Catalyst for One-Pot Synthesis of Thiazolidine 4-Ones and Fluorinated Derivatives
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Herein, we obtained heterogeneous silver nanoparticles from the isolated strain Streptomyces pactum and characterized them. These nanoparticles were utilized as recyclable green catalysts in a one-pot, three-component reaction to synthesize fluorinated and thiazolidine-4-one derivatives (Figure 1). Dimethylformamide (DMF) was identified as a suitable solvent, and the impact of the biocatalyst on product yields was effectively observed.
