Abstract: Establishing a student-centered teaching paradigm in higher education is the core issue of current higher education reform. With the development of AI technology and the widespread application of AI tools in the field of education, it is an important issue to consider how to use AI tools to reform the traditional teacher centered student academic evaluation model. Exploring the goals and principles of a student-centered process evaluation model in theory, as well as the necessity and feasibility of AI empowering process evaluation, can provide a theoretical basis for reforming the academic evaluation system of higher education under the development trend of AI empowering higher education.
