Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Until recently, there has been a proliferation of research conducted in several countries to test the empirical association between entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and company performance. However, the majority of articles published on EO between 2001 and 2022 focused on empirically testing the three dimensions of EO, namely innovation, proactivity and risk-taking, as initially defined by Miller (1983), despite the evolution of the concept. In this study, we will examine the various aspects of the EO concept developed in the literature to highlight its multidimensional nature. The objective of this article is to assess the impact of the five dimensions of EO -namely innovation, proactivity, risktaking, autonomy, and competitive aggressiveness -on the performance of Tunisian Aziza HADJ LTAIEF, Aida KAMMOUN, Salma BORCHANI https://iaeme.com/Home/journal/IJESB 8 [email protected] in different organizational contexts. We used data from the telecommunications, IT, and banking sectors. We conducted our analysis using XLSTAT 2020, specifically the PLSPM method. The results reveal that four EO practices have a significant impact on the performance of the studied Tunisian companies.
