Abstract: In this article, the author attempts to analyze the Kalisz calendars from the 19th and early 20th centuries as a source for studying the history of everyday life. The focus is on their content and socio-cultural context, as well as what they reveal about the lives of Kalisz residents during that period. The author demonstrates how these calendars allow us to reconstruct an image of life that, although long gone, still speaks to us with its authenticity and intimacy.
