Site selection of wind-photovoltaic coupling hydrogen production project with the assistant of geographic information system: A multi-criteria decision-making study under the hybrid fuzzy environment
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper presents a novel site selection framework for wind-photovoltaic coupled hydrogen production (WPCHP) projects conducted within a hybrid fuzzy environment. First, a comprehensive criteria system is built based on the characteristics of WPCHP. Secondly, preliminary screening of the potential alternative sites is conducted based on geographic information system to gain more reasonable spatial site. Then, two kinds of fuzzy sets, linguistic set and triangular fuzzy number (TFN), are used to build a hybrid fuzzy environment, where the linguistic sets are converted to triangular fuzzy numbers to more accurately characterize the uncertainty of criteria. Subsequently, the combination of the Best-Worst Method and the Entropy Method is employed to calculate the weights of the criteria, while the TOmada de Decisao Interativa Multicriterio (TODIM) method is utilized to rank the alternatives. Finally, a case study is conducted in Sichuan, where the reliability of the framework is verified through weight result analysis and comparative analysis.
