Abstract: In order to analyze the application effect of artificial intelligence algorithm in urban planning and design, this paper first reviews the relevant literature, analyzes the existing problems in current urban planning and the application prospect of artificial intelligence algorithm in urban planning. This paper also elaborates the research design, including data collection, data preprocessing, artificial intelligence algorithm selection, model construction and other steps. The experimental results of this paper show that the proposed algorithm has good application effect and practicability, and can provide a new idea and method for urban planning.
