Abstract: Players with high individual technical skill will not be able to achieve victory over the opposing team if their level of tactical thinking does not allow them to effectively interact with their partners. Success in achieving victory is determined by the ability to interact with partners at the group and team levels, effectively using individual technical skills and speed of tactical thinking. A high level of collective interaction allows the use of various combination actions in different areas of the playing field, which ensures effective overcoming of the opponent's resistance and further advancement to take the goal. The purpose of the study: to analyze collective interactions (small and medium group interaction and team interaction) of the Ukrainian national team at the 2024 European Football Championship in group round games. Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodological literature, methods of pedagogical observations, methods of mathematical statistics, registration and comparative analysis of technical and tactical actions (small and medium group interaction and team interaction) of the Ukrainian national team at the 2024 European Football Championship in group round games. Research results: an analysis of technical and tactical actions (number of passes) indicators was conducted, which reflect the level (small and medium group interaction and team interaction) in six 15-minute time periods in group round games of the Ukrainian national team at the 2024 European Football Championship. Conclusions: Collective interactions are the main content of all game activity of each team during the match. Correctly chosen tactics against a specific opponent contribute to success, and incorrect ones lead to defeat. The ability to quickly solve problematic tactical tasks and successfully use one's capabilities in official games characterizes the tactical maturity of both the team as a whole and its individual players. Tactical plans for the match developed by the coach are implemented by the interactions of individual groups of football players in different areas of the playing field. That is why individual tactical improvement is impossible without the implementation of clear group and team actions that give the game efficiency and coherence.
