Noise Factors Analysis and Reduction Research of Control Valve

Abstract: The influencing factors of control valve noise were analyzed. On this basis, a porous sleeve was designed for noise reduction. The internal flow field and noise field were numerically simulated by CFD, and the noise reduction effect was analyzed. The research shows that the noise of the control valve increases with the increase of fluid velocity and pressure difference. After adopting the porous sleeve, the large vortex under the valve outlet can be eliminated, the large vortex in the left chamber can be reduced, and the noise of the control valve can be effectively reduced.
