Investigation on Simulation of Subway Platform Screen door under extreme wind pressure load

Abstract: To ensure the safe operation of subway platform screen doors (PSDs), it is necessary to assess their deformation under load and the changes in driving force during the design and inspection phases. However, as the doors are in the operation, applying multiple loads simultaneously to PSDs presents high requirements for testing conditions. By using simulation analysis, these requirements can be quickly verified, thus, the efficiency of design and testing can be improved. 3D model of the PSDs is built and deformation under extreme wind pressure loads is obtained, which lays a foundation for the safe design and inspection of the doors.
