Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Aiming at the problems that most of the precision instruments in the quantitative casting robot system are difficult to work stably in the high temperature environment, and there are errors in the measurement of molten steel weight relying on the weighing instruments, this paper proposes an algorithm for the accurate measurement of molten steel weight. The algorithm improves the original sector volume quantitative method by establishing the model of pouring ladle with elliptical paraboloid as the inner wall, adopting heavy integral to calculate the liquid volume in the model dynamically, correlating the dynamic volume of liquid with the rotation angle of the rotating axis of the ladle, realizing the accurate measurement of the dynamic weight of molten steel in the ladle under different tilting angles, and deducing the equations of ladle position and the dynamic volume of liquid. The simulation program was written in Matlab and verified by Solidworks. The results show that the evaluation method is highly accurate and usable.
