Abstract: The importance of chemical science is increasing in our day-to-day modern life, from medicine and healthcare to food and nutrition, and from modern rocket technology to household uses.Modern Perspective of Advances in Chemical Sciences 2024 (MPACS 2024), a two-day national symposium, jointly organized by Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math, Howrah 711202, and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata, Mohanpur, Nadia 741246 is aimed at celebrating the new inventions in chemical science in modern India.The symposium took place on 22nd and 23rd July of 2024 at the holy premises of Belur Math, where the legendary leader Swami Vivekananda saw the dream of harmony between modern science and India's ancient culture.Dr. Debasis Jana and Dr. Uttam Kumar Ghorai, RKMV, Belur Math, convened the symposium.Around 25 delegates from top-notch institutes of India delivered lectures in the form of keynote talks, special lectures, and invited lectures in front of around 250 researchers and students from different institutes of India.
