Cyclometallated phosphonium ylide-based iridium( iii ) photocatalysts

Abstract: A novel class of cyclometallated photoactive iridium(III) complexes containing phosphonium ylide ligands has been synthesized and thoroughly characterized. Their photophysical and redox properties have been systematically investigated and employed in photocatalytic applications. Notably, these complexes exhibit high activity in visible-light-mediated EnT and SET processes.
