Seismic Analysis Of Complete Independence Of Low-temperature Carbon Dioxide Pump

Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Low temperature carbon dioxide pumps is important industrial equipment in the field of nuclear chemical engineering. In order to achieve complete independence of such important equipment, the development of low-temperature carbon dioxide pumps is necessary. Complete the overall structural design, component functional design, and material selection according to the design objectives, then manufacture a research prototype, conduct a series of performance tests such as strength testing, sealing testing, and overall machine life testing. Among them, verifying the integrity of the low-temperature carbon dioxide pump under earthquake conditions is an important step. Therefore, based on the design structure of the low-temperature carbon dioxide pump, a 3D geometric model is established, the grid is divided, and finite element model, with boundary conditions applied, numerical simulation of low-temperature carbon dioxide pump using ANSYS software. The results indicate that, including under various load combinations including SL-1 abnormal operating conditions or S-2 accident conditions, various components such as the low-temperature carbon dioxide pump body, support, crankshaft, and transmission box. The stress is all below the specified limit, meeting the requirements of the judgment criteria; Enable the equipment to achieve the pre designed functions, with reliable and stable performance, effectively ensuring the safe operation of the production line.
