Abstract: Background: Marijuana remains the most frequently used illicit drug in the United States. As its legal status has changed in recent years, more people have turned to oral administration (edibles). These “edibles” show considerable range from straightforward pills (i.e. Dronabinol) to gourmet concoctions such as cookies, candies and cakes. The current study focused on an individual’s uncomfortable experience with marijuana edibles, highlighting the relations with dosage, other drug use, aversiveness, and medical and non-medical outcomes.
