Abstract: We have developed a novel white pigment that emits visible and near-infrared light by optical excitation.Unlike the glass phosphor developed in our previous works, this pigment can be mixed with glaze or porcelain clay and fired. The visible and nearinfrared light images were obtained from ceramics with this pigment under 980 nm laser irradiation.Hence, we can verify the ceramics' authenticity by using an image-matching process. Our experiments showed that each image has uniqueness, and it seems to be difficult for examinees to tell the difference between the pigment with or without Er2O3. キーワード:白色顔料,光励起,可視光画像,近赤外線画像
