Type: article
Abstract: The article highlights a fundamental change in the role and mission of the management personnel of an enterprise, since it becomes an active resource for the formation of the competitive advantage of an enterprise, which ensures its stable position in the market of goods, works and services. The analysed concepts of evaluation of managerial personnel of an enterprise have an object, matter and subject. The process of managerial performance is considered as the object of the relationship. The subjects of evaluation are: managers, top managers, managers, coordinators and specialists of the enterprise. The subject of the evaluation is expressed in the algorithm for measuring the values of quantitative and qualitative criteria for assessing the performance of management personnel. Evaluation should be considered as the attitude of the company’s managers to the implementation of management activities. The article defines the author’s point of view on assessment of activity of managerial personnel of an enterprise as a process of constant collection of information on efficiency of activity of managers of an enterprise in the form of values of socio-economic assessment indicators (criteria), on the basis of which a dispersed comparison of achieved and planned (normative) results is carried out and a rating of managers of an enterprise is determined. The management process is a conscious activity of the company’s managers. Awareness of the mission, goals and objectives of the business allows managers of each division to reflect the reality of a particular moment, creatively change it, plan foreseeable actions, predict their results, and take responsibility for the decisions they make. The use of managerial personnel of an industrial enterprise implies a comprehensive, constant and objective assessment of the results of their work, the essence of which is both in making managerial decisions and in organising subordinates to implement them. It is obvious that the merits of managers should be judged not only by their professional qualities, but also by how effectively they use them in the process of performing their tasks, provided that they need to achieve effective results. Assessment of volitional activity of enterprise managers is based on (65) timely and objective quantitative assessment of their individual psychological qualities.
