Study of Arterial Flow of Blood through Stenosed Region: A Bibliometric Analysis and Literature Review
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This research study offers a bibliometric analysis and literature review to assist scholars and funding agencies in identifying research areas that need more attention. The main goal of this study is to examine the development of mathematical approaches used to analyze blood flow in narrowed arteries, considering both Newtonian and non-Newtonian flow, and to identify potential areas for further investigation. The paper provides an overview of research conducted on blood flow in narrowed arteries using externally applied magnetic field and nanoparticles to regulate blood flow in the current century. The analysis is primarily based on the Scopus database. Initially, a search was conducted based on the data of last 55 years using relevant keywords, which was later narrowed down to the recent 15 years, considering the increased volume of publications in recent years. A literature review and analysis of results are performed for the most cited documents. A select number of articles from the Scopus database are reviewed to gain a deeper understanding of the evolution of research in this area.
