Abstract: In the present article, we illustrate and analyze the co-authorship network of Paul G. Mezey, focusing only on his collaborations on chirality-related papers. We consider scientific works from the Web of Science database as of 10 April 2024. Unlike previous studies on co-authorship networks, this network allows parallel edges, indicating multiple collaborations between the scientists involved. We also present a co-authorship network based on articles citing Mezey’s chirality-related papers (excluding self-citations), examining its main communities detected. Publications on the development of the theoretical and mathematical background of the new ideas on chirality are also considered.
