Abstract: This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting health status and health behaviour by life cycle on subjective health using Community Health Survey data (2023) and to provide basic data for establishing health policies that reflect each life cycle's characteristics and different needs.Data analysis was conducted using the IBM SPSS 25.0 program, applying a complex sample design and performing a complex sample cross-analysis (χ² test) on demographic characteristics, health behaviour, and health status to compare the differences by the life cycle of single-person household adults. In addition, a complex sample logistic regression analysis was performed to identify the factors affecting subjective health by life cycle. The results of the study showed that occupation, marital status, monthly income, smoking, physical activity, health checkup, stress, depression, and obesity significantly affected subjective health in adolescence, occupation, monthly income, drinking, physical activity, health checkup, stress, and depression in middle age.Education level, city of residence, occupation, monthly income, physical activity, vaccination, stress, depression, and obesity significantly affect subjective health in old age. These research results confirm that factors affecting subjective health differ by age group, suggesting the need for customized health policies that reflect different health promotion needs according to household characteristics and life cycle in the future. This also implies the need for research such, as developing a model that can measure various detailed factors for health promotion policies for single-person households.
