Improving Patient Care for Women’s Heart Health by Increasing Women’s Heart Health Education

Abstract: Women’s heart health (WHH) has been undereducated to health care professionals (HCPs). However, many HCPs are motivated to close this knowledge gap and build clinical expertise. The WHH program at a tertiary care hospital developed education to train HCPs in the surrounding regional hospitals and improve the care provided to this vulnerable cohort of patients.
