Abstract: Data is the current currency of institutions and their new gold mine.For its part, governance is the paved approach that all institutions must adopt to ensure the security and convenience of decision-making.By combining the two concepts of "data governance", the weight of the subject doubles and acquires great importance in all sectors .Especially in higher education.This study aims to highlight the concept of data governance in the higher education sector, to provide strategies and mechanisms used for governance, and to present leading-edge experiences in some countries.Using the descriptive analytical method Citation Benaida F.
