Abstract: This study investigates the relationship between GDP and imports, unemployment, and government domestic spending in Norway from 1988 to 2022 using a multivariate linear regression model. The results show that unemployment and domestic spending significantly affect GDP, while imports do not. The F-statistic suggests the model lacks overall statistical significance. The Durbin-Watson test indicates minimal autocorrelation, and multicollinearity is not a concern. These findings point out the value of fiscal policy and labor market conditions in shaping economic growth. The study offers tips for policymakers focused on sustainable economic development.
