Prediction of Rural Population Growth Potential and Exploration of Rural Revitalization Path by Particle Swarm Optimization Technology

Abstract: Achieving the goals of rural revitalization is challenging. It's crucial to avoid “lopsided rural development” by emphasizing agricultural and rural priority. Addressing issues related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers is a major challenge in China's urban-rural development. By analyzing China's urban-rural dual economy and integrating economic theories, this paper explores practical methods to promote rural development, offering a new research approach for rural planning. Using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and population carrying capacity, this study investigates rural revitalization. Results show a significant correlation between rural population carrying capacity and individual income, land income, and labor force, with an impact of about 48.63%. This research provides a foundation for future studies in rural revitalization.
