Abstract: This study investigates the role of value-based measures—Economic Value Added (EVA), Market Value Added (MVA), and Cash Flow Return on Investment (CFROI)—in predicting stock market performance in the Indian context. This paper aims to evaluate whether value-based measures offer superior predictive power for stock performance compared to traditional financial metrics and to assess how different sectors in the Indian stock market respond to these measures.
