Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Membranous Nephropathy (MN) is a leading cause of nephrotic syndrome in adults. It is broadly classified into primary (idiopathic) and secondary forms, based on underlying aetiology. Among the secondary causes, infections— particularly hepatitis B and hepatitis C viruses—play a significant role in disease pathogenesis.
