Analysis of the Influence of the Smart Indonesia Program and Entrepreneurship Skills Education on Community Welfare in Indonesia

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of government assistance programs, namely the Smart Indonesia Program (SIP) and Entrepreneurship Skills Education (ESE) in 2021-2024 on Community Welfare, which is proxied by the Number of Poor People Throughout Indonesia using a panel data regression method that combines time series and cross-section data. Secondary data is used from 34 Provinces of Indonesia and is taken from data sources from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) and sources from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) from 2021-2024. This study found that the Smart Indonesia Program (SIP) and Entrepreneurship Skills Education (ESE) variables positively and significantly impact community welfare.
